Not at all. I think in Australia it is still stoppable. Now Tesla is still the winner in the Australian EV market.

I think there are three things that can stop it: 1. Protectionist trade policies 2. anti EVs sentiments/attitudes 3. anti Chinese products sentiments/attitudes

In Thailand, it is more difficult to stop, since Japanese EVs are still not commonly available.

Much less than BYD Germany, 4139 units sold in Germany in 2023, according to some sources. Compared to BYD Thailand, 30650 units sold in 2023.

h0ngcom : This 2023 event shows that BYD, a Chinese brand/company, is not yet blocked/banned from the Japanese video game industries. So I still keep saying that Polyphony Digital and Gran Turismo should not ban/block this car company too.

BYD entered some famous events in the world, including Red Brick Beach and GoOut Camp. I think I am not joking. Many Japanese events are considered famous, because many people around the world are interested in them. From my points of views, I think Japan has the world's best Soft Power (many people are looking for Japan/Japanese contents, even that some of them are limited to Japan domestic or Japanese IP address only), and, if you conquered Japan, you conquered the world (Welsh: y byd).

UEFA Euro is a very famous event.

However, I think some people may boycott UEFA and Euro this year due to the anti EV and anti "Chinese crap" sentiments.

There are some car-related places for BYD to go/to beat.

China Car of The Year has some Geely cars but still none of BYD.

Some Chinese cars/automakers entered Forza game universe but still none of BYD.

Gran Turismo game universe still has no cars from BRICS countries.

(Some more countries joined BRICS in 1 January 2024. THAILAND SHOULD JOIN BRICS TOO since the gov is pro-China and somewhat pro-Russia.)

(However, the GT universe is not neutral, pro-Japan, protecting Japanese car industries.)
