h0ngcom believes the world will not be forced to be EV-only by 2040 because it would be dictatorial. eViking think the EV-only will be happen in 2036. h0ngcom think it is too soon, it would be 2100 or even later, h0ngcom means the time when EV technologies is really widely available and really superior to fuel cars, really better in reliability and longevity, etc., so many people of that era really want to use EVs.
At the very least, the users of supercars/hypercars are incredibly wealthy, so fuel costs won't be a concern (unless a fuel shortage occurs). Therefore, many of them don't want EVs that are too quiet and uninspiring, or if they do make noise, the noise won't be natural. Then, fuel cars will not be extinct, at least in the form of supercars/hypercars.
Traditional values of cars will continue to exist for hundreds of years.
In this time (2025), we should not underestimated car-conservative people.
